About the position

MuWave are seeking an organised and dedicated individual to support with a number of our exciting projects. Experience with project coordination or project management are desirable but not essential for the right candidate.

This is expected to be a varied role, bridging responsibilities in general business and financial administration, alongside project coordination and project management. The successful candidate will work directly with the MuWave Project Manager and the role is intended to provide opportunities for development and training within the Project profession.

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 dependent on experience

MuWave is a high-power microwave technology company based at Culham Campus, Oxfordshire. We design, prototype, manufacture, test and deliver high-power microwave system components, and all roles can expect to experience the full engineering lifecycle.

About the role

Duties may include:

• Project coordination including management of actions, deliverables and documentation.
• Liaison with suppliers and customers on progress of orders and delivery.
• Completing contract templates and creating Plan-On-A-Page (POAP)s for contract bids.
• Management of key company databases (including stakeholder registers, contract and agreement databases, etc.).
• New starter/onboarding administration.
• Financial administration including updating financial models, issuing invoices, reconciling receipts, ordering from supplier base.
• Booking business travel (hotels, flights etc.).

Essential skills / experience required

• Demonstrable administrative experience or transferable experience (e.g. coordinating tasks, managing records, supporting projects).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) or equivalent tools.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in writing and verbally.
• Demonstrated ability to produce accurate work, such as maintaining records, reports, or data with minimal errors.
• Ability to handle confidential and commercially sensitive information with discretion.

Desirable skills / experience

• Project coordination/Assistant Project Manager experience

Minimum 2 days per week in Culham Campus office (accessible by car, train, bus)
